This scholarship is co-sponsored by the Zeta Psi Lambda Foundation and the family of Dr. Ulric W. Pryce. Awards are presented annually to eligible students graduating from accredited schools in Southwest Louisiana. All student applications are accepted regardless of race, gender, or national origin.

The 2010 Dr. Ulric Pryce Memorial Scholarship recipient is Mr. Jonathan Bradley Carr. Jonathan is an honor graduate of A.M. Barbe High School in Lake Charles, LA. He graduated with a high school grade point average of 3.90 and earned 9 hours of college credit as a student of McNeese State University’s Dual Enrollment Program. Some of Jonathan’s high school honors include: a recipient of the Citizenship Award, a four-year letterman in basketball, four years earning the Honor Roll, a member of the National Honor Society, and many more. His ACT composite score is 27. Jonathan is the son of Mrs. Jacqueline Collins. Jonathan’s university choice is Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.
The Brothers of Zeta Psi Lambda are very proud of Jonathan and his accomplishments. It is the Chapter’s hope that supplementing Jonathan’s collegiate finances will aid in a comfortable transition from high school to college. We also recognize Jonathan’s scholarship as an example of the benefits earned from a strong commitment to personal progress and academic success.
